About Nick Chen

 

Hi there. My name is Nick, from Taipei University, and major in English.

 

I love exploring fresh stuff and sharing my experience, ideas with people. In 2015, I have traveled in Europe for 66 days through 15 cities by myself. First time to do this; to be honest, that was a quite awesome experience! In that 66 days I really experienced a lot of things and had a great memories there.

 

In Estonia, I went to an island to work for accommodation. In there I had a real sauna with the local, and also went fishing when dawn is coming.

 

In Brno, my friend who I just knew less than 7 days invited me to her house. Although her family cannot speak English very well, we still had good time and share our culture with each other.

More stories I will tell you when meeting hehe. Anyway, the travel in Europe really leave great memories on me. Yet I would say, what impressed me most is not scenery or food. It is PEOPLE. Because of these nice, interesting guys, my travel is super unique and fun. And now I would like to copy the same feeling of this kind to you!

 

If you get couple hours, we can go to nightmarket to have the best local food…like stinky tofu, yummy yummy!

 

If you get a whole day, maybe we can go hiking to see some natural view. You must know that Taiwan has a variety of geography. If getting chance, go hiking can be your choice to experience this Formosa.

 

Or if you just want to relax and listen some Taiwanese stories, we can go to café and order a cup of Latte. I will share everything that what you desire to know and what you did not expect to know.

你好，叫我Nick就行了。我是來自台北大學外文系的學生。嗜好是出去走走、看看電影或挑本書泡杯茶，來渡過一個下午。

 

透過逼真的特效來喚起你的感官，或動人的故事來讓你思索人生，電影，就是這麼過癮。書本不像電影，已經為你建立好了所有的畫面，但這也是迷人之處，拋棄掉他人所賦予的，重新建立起自己所想像的，騁馳其中，不亦樂乎啊。

 

扯遠了，那為什麼我想成為JD的顧問呢?因為有感於天地渾沌、萬物蕭條，而頭蓋骨突然發出一到奇光，聖人告訴我此時不入地獄誰入地獄…開玩笑的，就是說，在2015年的暑假有機會到歐洲第一次自助旅行，66天的15個國家，讓我體驗了很多也見識了不少，美食、風景及文化等等，但我要說這些基礎都來源一個字—人。

 

永遠記得在捷克第二大城BRNO，萍水相逢的Lucie邀我去家中作客，雖然爸媽及弟弟不太懂英文，但笑臉盈人卻是永遠掛在臉上。也永遠記得透過BlaBlaCar認識的Malanie，開了快一整天的車到愛沙尼亞後，還帶我去朋友家一同參與生日派對。

 

想複製相同的感受，分享獲的的快樂，所以我出現在這。

 

如果你只有幾小時，我們可以去夜市體驗道地的美食，或喝杯咖啡聊聊台灣。如果你有一天的時間，我們可以去附近健行爬山，台灣有太多刺激有趣又多變的大中小山，等你來征服。
