Traveler's community

JDpal is based in Taiwan.  JD is the abbreviation for "Jai Di", which means "local" in Mandarin.

JDpal gathers many volunteers as Local Pals with great passion to take you experiencing the REAL local life that internet cannot offer!  They come from diverse backgrounds and own different professions in Taiwan.

Our goal is to spread the idea to the world and build up a traveler's community.  Travelers can look for a Local Pal's help when they are traveling or be a Local Pal to share their unique local experience when they are home.  Anyone who loves to meet new friends all over the world and has passions to share the beauty of their city with foreigners is welcomed to join JDpal.  It's a rare chance for people to freely extend their social circle and polish foreign languages.

About Us

Winter 2015. A group of people having various backgrounds and professions gathered and sparked because of a common idea. Some of them are business travelers frequently dragging luggage between different cities, some of them are backpacker self-traveling enthusiastic. During our journey, if there are friends of us happen to be in town, we often have great experience of authentic local life. But more often, we explore alone. Especially at this time, we are eager of getting a local pal navigate our way through. Because of this thought, we want to offer travelers local pals on site. Perhaps he/she would bring you to authentic local cuisine or to the secret spots only locally known. Perhaps other activities that you thirst for in the journey.

And then, here comes JDpal.
